What is the SIP-AP?
The Social Information Processing Application (SIP-AP) assessment is a self-administered web-based computer application that assesses social information processing skills in school-aged boys. This tool is helpful in identifying children’s social cognitive deficits and in guiding interventions for children who are experiencing these deficits.

What is CARE?
The Child and Adolescent Recognition of Emotion (CARE) assessment is a self-administered web-based computer application that assesses the emotion recognition skills of preschool-aged children. This tool may be helpful in guiding cognitive-behavioral interventions with children who have problems with social and behavioral functioning that may be due, in part, to emotional knowledge deficits.

SCORING: Interpretative report automatically generated
BENEFITS: Uniquely assesses SIP skills using video vignettes that are filmed from the first-person perspective. Program is self-administered and a scored report is provided after each session.

BENEFITS: High quality photographs of children posing FACS (Facial Action Coding System; Ekman and Friesen, 1976) coded emotions on their faces, as well as their bodies; developmentally and culturally appropriate stimuli; program is self-administered.
